General Information
This privacy statement is an overview on how your personal data is being processed when you visit our website.
Personal data is any information with which you can be personally identified.
We inform you about how we comply with the applicable data protection laws and regulations, in particular the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), which information we collect during the visit of our website and how it is used.
General Information on Data Processing
The use of our website is basically possible without provision of any personal data. Personal data are only collected by us if you provide them to us by your own decision, e.g. by sending us e-mails as part of enquiries or requests for information. We will only use the personal data collected from you to provide you with the requested information, or for other purposes for which you have given us your express consent, unless otherwise required by law. Other technical data (so-called server log file data) are collected and processed automatically when you visit our website.
We retain control over any data you disclose to us by visiting our website. The data will be stored and processed by us or our service provider, who acts on our behalf and is responsible to us. We will ensure that the service provider has established appropriate data protection standards based on the state-of-the-art data security and data protection to protect your personal data, to the same extent as in the country, from which you are accessing our website.
The data automatically collected and processed when you visit our website will be deleted or anonymised, including the IP address, as soon as it is no longer needed for its intended purpose. Your personal data provided in connection with any contact remains with us until you ask us for deletion, revoke your consent or the purpose of the data storage is omitted. Insofar as mandatory statutory provisions exist, such as statutory retention periods, these remain unaffected.
We have to draw your attention to the fact that the transfer of data via internet (e.g. in case you communicate by e-mail with us) is subject to security risks and, therefore, complete protection against third-party access to transferred data cannot be ensured. For this reason, as a user of our website, you are free to provide us with your personal information by other means (e.g. by telephone).

Our website uses on the legal basis of Article 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO Google Analytics, a web analysis service from Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 1351 USA, (“Google“). Google uses cookies, text files that are stored on your computer in order to facilitate an analysis of your use of the website.
The information generated by these cookies about your visit of our website is transmitted to a Google server in the USA, stored there on our behalf, analyzed and the result is provided to us in form of an anonymous user profile. We have activated on our website the IP anonymization feature offered by Google. In doing so, Google abbreviates your IP address. Moreover, Google is certified under the EU-US Privacy Shield, which ensures an adequate level of data protection with respect to the processing of data by Google in the USA.
Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate your usage of our website, to compile reports on website activities for us, and to provide other services related to website- and internet usage. Pseudonymous user profiles of the processed data will be created. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be sent to a Google server in the USA and abbreviated there. The IP address submitted by your browser will not be associated with other data held by Google.
You have also the possibility to prevent the collection by Google of the data generated by the cookie and of its use of the website as well as the processing of this data by Google by downloading the browser plug-in available as an add-on under the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
This browser add-on tells Google that no data and information about your website visits may be submitted to Google. Furthermore, you can prevent the collection of data generated by Google, especially when using mobile devices by setting a so-called opt-out cookie that you should not delete as long as you want to maintain your objection. More information thereto can be found at: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
